I just came across someone on facebook that I had *completely* forgotten I slept with. Like “how do I know that guy? Oh yeah, that time we did it.” I’ve been discussing the concept of keeping “a list” a lot lately too, so I’ve been going over several names in my head (or in some cases nicknames, like “that one guy from Berlin” or “that other guy from Berlin.” Many of these seem to include Berlin.)
This guy though, he’s never come up. Which means I was either really drunk or he was completely unremarkable. Maybe both. Except he’s black and I remember he has an MBA from DuPaul — oh and we did it in my old apartment right after I broke up with my boyfriend — I have little to no memory of this man. I also remember he tried to add me on facebook AND he texted me a bunch, and I ignored both. Otherwise nothing.
I can only wonder how many others I’ve forgotten?
