I’ve always wondered about this too.  If it’s such a boon for the environment to run my car off of electricity, why am I also being told to turn off the lights to conserve electricity? Yes. I find that people rarely think about this and just consider all electric cars better for the environment.

I’ve always wondered about this too.  If it’s such a boon for the environment to run my car off of electricity, why am I also being told to turn off the lights to conserve electricity?
